The Elizabethan Age
If you were to ask anyone to name two English monarchs prior to the current queen, it is almost certain that Henry VIII and Elizabeth I would be the answers. This “Golden Age” of English history was the time of Shakespeare, The Reformation, and the Spanish Armada.
