Our group traveled by bus to Uncle Billy’s Grave Site and did a tour around the Saxonburg area looking at historic landmarks before stopping at Saxonburg Museum for about a 90 minute visit. We then traveled to the Field House for lunch.

Our first History Hobo event was a bus trip to Civil War sites in Pittsburgh. The itinerary included:
The Heinz History Center, the Allegheny Arsenal sites and Cemetery, Soldiers and Sailors Hall and the Carnegie Library in Carnegie PA. which has a Lincoln Room and an original GAR Post closed in the 1930s.
